1 Round the Lord in glory seated
flew the choirs of seraphim,
filled his temple, and repeated
each to each the alternate hymn:

2 'Lord, your glory fills the heaven,
earth is with its fulness stored;
to your name be glory given:
Holy, holy, holy, Lord!'

3 At the sound, when all is shaken,
sinners fear, unclean and lost,
till by grace their guilt is taken,
wrath removed at fearful cost.

4 Can we hear the voice then crying,
'Who will go whom shall I send?',
'Here am I, send me' replying,
trusting, faithful to the end?

5 Still attuned to heaven's glory,
yet we face a world of need,
sent to tell a Servant's story:
Christ has died, has risen indeed.

6 Heaven is still with glory ringing;
earth takes up the angels' cry,
'Holy, holy, holy', singing,
'Lord of hosts, the Lord most high!'

7 Lord, your glory fills the heaven,
earth is with its fulness stored;
to your name be glory given:
Holy, holy, holy, Lord!
