O what a day for singing
bells in Bethlehem are ringing;
O what a day for singing
Christmas joy to all the world:
so, sing songs of celebration,
ring out bells of jubilation,
for Jesus Christ the Lord has come
to be our king on this Christmas Day!

1 Our God was able to come down on earth,
born in a stable to bring us new birth;
angels were praising as shepherds were gazing
on Jesus, the Son of God.

2 Wise men were riding through deserts they came,
star for their guiding and king for their aim;
coming before him they knelt to adore him
with incense and gold and myrrh.
