Here we come a-carolling

1 Here we come a-carolling
to greet our new-born king,
to join with shepherds on the hill
and hear the angels sing.
Heaven's peace be to you,
and to all your loved ones too;
and God bless you
and send you a happy new year;

to see our saviour true,
to kneel and wonder at his crib
as all good Christians do.
