Hear me, O Lord, and respond to my prayer

1 Hear me, O Lord, and respond to my prayer,
guard well my life, for I love you:
nothing compares with the wonders you do,
for there is no god above you.

2 Bring me your joy as I worship you, Lord,
come to my heart, for I need you;
teach me your way, let me walk in your truth
I cannot fail when I heed you.

3 Give me a sign of your goodness, O Lord,
grant me the strength that obeys you:
you are compassion, abounding in love,
you are my king, and I praise you.
