King of kings, possessor of riches beyond imagination,
enable us to use your resources
imaginatively,
creatively
and generously,
both to meet our own needs
and to satisfy the far more pressing needs of the poor;
that we all may continually remember
the great truth which your Son taught us,
that happiness lies more in giving than receiving.
Etch these words into our hearts we pray,
for Christ's sake. Amen.
