PRAYER ABOUT REVOLUTION

God of peace and justice,
give wisdom to those who chafe under tyranny;
teach them to seek your will;
guide them into right decisions;
enable them to know when to suffer silently and when to take militant action;
and help us, who live in freedom and without fear,
to refrain from judging the actions of our fellows
when we have not borne their burdens or suffered their agonies;
for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.
