What if my brothers wrong me, Lord
1 What if my brothers wrong me, Lord,
Or sisters cause me pain?
Must I forgive them seven times
And see them sin again?
2 Yes, Peter: let your love stretch wide
For you have been forgiven;
Bless enemies as many times
As seventy times seven.
3 What if my sin has grieved you, Lord,
And I have let you down?
Can you cast sin into the sea,
And can I watch it drown?
4 Yes, Peter; to the tree I went
That you might be forgiven.
Go now in peace and sin no more
And walk the road to heaven.
